I am a writer and illustrator by trade, but I work as an inspector and plans examiner for an architectural consulting firm in order to pay the bills. I spend most of my free time trying to limit my carbon footprint on Earth. I do not own a car, and don't know if I ever will again. As much of a hassle as it can be, I rely on public transportation. I do the best I can to be a good human being, but find it increasingly frustrating and difficult to do so in a consumer-oriented world. I am single. I have no children. I have cats and rats, and they serve as my family. My cats are elderly, and the rats don't live long enough for my taste, as I like them very much as a species, and miss them when they pass. I like music of all kinds. I love movies. I read a lot. I am good with computers and networks, but hate cell phones. I have been a geek since before the term was chic. I am also athletic, regardless of my height, or how I'm perceived by others. I love women of all colors, and I seem to get along with members of the opposite sex better (although my love for women has been the bane of my existance, and the cause of much heartache). I unfortunately think of most men I meet as useless, and a waste of flesh. Except for the gay men I am friends with, most men tend to be macho shitheads. I like to snorkel, snowboard, travel, go to the movies, eat out, throw dinner-and-a-movie parties, etc. I live in Miami by accident, and hope to move anywhere but as soon as I am financially and professionaly able. I am working on various artistic projects--in the hopes that something will click, and I don't ever have to do the nine-to-five thing again. I am 5'4", 140 lbs, brown hair, blue eyes, and have an athletic build. My politics are independent; I vote according to the issue, and not according to the party. I am a professional, and a college graduate. At the very moment that I write this, I am listening to Marvin Gaye...and it is thundering outside. My cats are hiding under the bed. The rats want out; it's time for their excercise...
