I've been environmentally conscious since I was about 9 years old. I consider myself an environmentalist (creationist is the Christian term) and want to work with others in turning our current environmental situation around. I feel that we are in the middle of a real crisis and environmental collapse will be inevitable if we do not act now to save the planet. I recycle just about everything. Even when my wife and I go on vacation we keep all our trash and recycle it. I use fluorescent light bulbs throughout our home. I recently listened to a Christian creationist speak about things he does to conserve energy and reduce his carbon footprint and I've been convinced to using a clothesline to dry our clothes. Right now our biggest problem is reducing our gasoline usage. We can not afford a hybrid right now so we are trying to reduce the amount of driving we do. We live out away from town and it is not a safe road to try and bicycle to town when we need things there.
