Enjoy your achievements, as well as, your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble. It is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not fain affection, neither be cynical about love. For in the face of aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly to the counsel of years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Go placidly amidst the noise and haste, remembering what peace there may be in silence, as far as possible, without surrender. Be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly, clearly, and listen to others, even to the dull and ignorant. They too have their story. Avoid the loud and aggressive person. They are vexatious to the spirit. Let nature, and strength of spirit, shield you in sudden misfortune, but do not distress with darkened imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. You have a right to be here. Whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding, as it should. Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive him to be. No matter what your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life should be, keep peace with your soul. With all of its shame, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Strive to be happy.

MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT ME IS: Most of all I am a Mom. I may have an empty nest, but I am still a Mom. "Out of all the little boys in the world, God could have picked to be MY son....how do you suppose we got the BEST ONE?" I believe in fairytales...never to forget that pain is inevitable, but suffering is voluntary. FAVORITE MUSIC: I LOVE to listen to my hubby create music on his accoustic, Enya, Creed, Nickelback, Evanescence, Mercy Me, Point of Grace, Avalon, Mannheim Steamroller, Blue Man Group, Cusco, Epiloge, Celine Dion, Yanni, The Corrs, Matchbox 20, Steppenwolf, Stevie Nicks, Goo Goo Dolls, a tish of Greenday, and a little BonJovi to carry me the rest of the way! FAVORITE MOVIES: Passion of the Christ, I am Sam, Radio, Braveheart, The Abyss, Into the West, Steel Magnolias, Terms of Endearment, SICKO, The Notebook, White Oleander, Deep End of the Ocean, Seize on Ruby Ridge, The Devils Advocate, Eight Below, What Dreams May Come, Elegant Universe - String Theory. As for television, I don't watch it much. I guess I am just not that into *reality*... but when I do well then I watch ER, most ALL Animal Cop shows, I like just about everything on HGTV, and once in awhile Oprah has something really great on her show. FAVORITE READ: I am a bookstore junkie! I LOVE luv LOVE luv LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE books. I get high off the SMELL of books! Um weird I know. Celestine Prophecy, The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage, Reviving Ophelia, Real Boys, Prescription Guide to Nutritional Healing. MY HEROS ARE: First and foremost Christ (and not because I am *saved*) my husband, OUR son, and my mother....
