Trouble in Cambodia! This week Angelina Jolie's philanthropic advisor announced that hundreds of thousands of dollars donated by the star have gone missing. The money was intended to go toward a conservation plan for Cambodian forests, but after Mounh Sarath, an employee of Cambodian Vision in Development, claimed that Jolie never paid up on her promises, some are convinced that Sarath has pocketed it himself. Apparently Sarath hasn't heard that Jolie gives money to anything and everything; it's been suggested that had he simply frowned and held out his hands, he may have received a donation of his own.
Noted car and motorcycle enthusiast Jay Leno has revealed a hot new ride. The Ecojet, was designed and developed by Leno and GM VP of Global Design Ed Welburn. The car is run by a jet engine that burns biodiesel, hence finally offering a solution to those who consider themselves environmentalists and refuse to give up looking for ridiculous and painfully obvious ways to demonstrate their manliness.
Our friends at Grist have an extensive report on which politicians are boasting about their environmental records in campaign commercials this year. The highlights include The Governator and Phil Angelides trading blows, nastiness between Jon Tester and Conrad Burns, and Pennsylvania's famed Senator Rick Santorum in a wrestling ring. Most Americans agree that it's about time politicians took the environment seriously, and nothing says serious like a well-known right wing Christian casually punching an enormous spandex-clad man in the face.
Jennifer Aniston flew to London this week for a seemingly cheerful reunion with paramour Vince Vaughn. Optimistic environmentalists couldn't help but be pleased at the hordes of police officers who protected the actress upon her arrival in England—all of them where either on bike or foot. Cynics point out that armored SUVs simply wouldn't fit in the terminal.
Ecorazzi reports that the Thai government has requested that Sylvester Stallone and crew remain especially careful and environmentally aware while they film a new Rambo movie in Thailand's forests. "We did not forbid them—we just asked them to be careful," a Thai official said. It was not immediately clear whether the official was aware of the irony involved in asking Rambo to be careful.

Inspiration: Like most of you, when I heard of recycling to save the earth, I naturally assumed I needed to separate my plastics, newspapers and glass. I was helping. That was all I needed to do. Then one day, I was searching around for something fun, some art, and I came across this abstract piece. It was gorgeous - it looked like a naturally formed wave of icy white water bursting into the air. When I looked closer at it, I saw that it was made from recycled plastic caps. I was in shock. What kind of imagination and talent does that take to look at a plastic cap and see more to it then what it actually is? How can someone be so ingenious that they can take something that we normally throw away and create such a piece of beauty with it? This is the thought process that I could not stop pondering and it took over my mind, body and soul and soon enough became my muse.
I began Earth's Journey for this reason. I wanted to show the world that there was more to saving the earth than just recycling. There is beauty in things we can't even imagine, and so many ways to help our planet flourish. There are products out there that we all could use to completely decorate, furnish and run a home... all environmentally safe. You can buy organic bedding, non-toxic cleaning detergents, solar power, or make a change in a small way by using energy-efficient light bulbs. But the best part of recycling and being eco-friendly is the beauty that you'll find here, with all of our different artisans. As you can see I'm very passionate about this type of artistic creativity, and I hope you will be too.
I invite you to sit back, relax and ... Be Inspired by Green!
Is amazing anyone know of the plans for it?
I'm thinking it will probably end up like most other eco-friendly showcars.....in a warehouse for eternity.
