Natural Remedies for SPLINTERS and THORNS

Onion. Use a slice of raw onion to treat splinters, wasp bites, and blisters. The onion's anti-inflammatory properties draws deeply embedded splinters to the skin's surface, making them easier to remove. Onion, like vinegar, will also counteract the alkaline in wasp venom. Apply a slice of raw onion directly to wasp bite.

Powdered Clay works well for drawing out splinters and thorns. Mix a little clay with water and put it on the affected area, and as the clay dries, it draws out the splinter. Look for green clays, specifically Bentonite, which is a healing clay at health food stores.
