The Coca-Cola Company, which has come under criticism for using too much water in its operations, is taking the bold step of teaming up with an activist group on an unusual $20 million multi-year partnership to “replace” all the water used in Coke beverages and their production. Michael Connor interviews Coca-Cola environmental executive Jeff Seabright, and John Donoghue of WWF (World Widlife Fund), on this latest example of public companies partnering with private organizations to address social and environmental issues.

At least, that's the word from the soft drink giant as they unveil the latest versions of their products. But this time, they promise, their carbonated drinks are healthy.

Wal-Mart, the nation's leading food retailer, announced plans on Monday to double its organic offerings in the next two weeks. DeDe Priest, Wal-Mart's senior vice president of dry grocery, told Reuters that Wal-Mart hopes to prove that organic foods aren't “just for the rich.”
