It says in the ABOUT US that “LIME is a next-generation media brand that values community and participation at its core.” If one values community we should start by respecting the community. How can we trust anything we read here? We now have to assume that “editorial” is simply ad copy… Why am I not surprised.
Larry and Jane,
You’re right to call us out on this. In reviewing this post, I think it merits its own page, separated out from our daily editorial flow and clearly signaled as promotional. I appreciate your concern about confusing those two types of content. It's not our intention to do so. We promise to be vigilant in maintaining the editorial integrity our section Editors have established in these early weeks of our existence. We appreciate the fact that you’re holding us to the standards we have set for ourselves and giving us such rapid feedback.

The issue is not whether or not the audio stream/Sirius broadcast mentions Lime’s relationship with Revolution Media, it does. The issue here is a simple one, credibility and journalistic ethics. Blogs have become an alternative to the main stream media and as such, they have to maintain a level of independence if they are to be taken seriously in the marketplace of ideas. While it is certainly true that blogs have far more flexibility when it comes to personal commentary and editorial analysis, they still must adhere to journalistic ethical standards if they are to be at all relevant. For Lime to do otherwise is to become some hybrid new age version of Luck magazine online. Who wants that? Given Mrs. Symans reply I will certainly be keeping an open mind and I’ll refrain from posting a link from the E&P blog.

Simple man indeed, and condescending, too. Jane makes some really valid and important points, yet you dismiss her concerns as being motivated by
