Barefoot is an oasis of independence in a sea of comercial conformity. The baristas are well paid and well trained, considering making your coffee drink an art form. One in which they enter into competitions with. Once you get past the stark strip mall, the atmosphere at Barefoot is cozy and artistic. Comfy old couches, chairs and tables decorated by different artists, local art hanging on the walls, free wireless internet access, and open mic musicians make the place feel like "Cheers" pumped up on caffeine. They pride themselves on sustainability here, roasting their own beans, and only buying free trade organic. A fun little array of globally conscious gifts line the wall that I like to stock up at for the holidays.
