Greenwashing
As more and more consumers become concerned about the environment and choose to support companies with sound environmental practices (or shun those who pollute or otherwise harm the planet), companies have seized on "green" as a marketing opportunity. But many companies touting supposedly green practices are really obscuring their environmentally destructive policies.
