Lately, many magazines have published on their not so "green" paper using their not so "green" ink which cities in the US are the most green to live in. What do people want from their city and what makes a city green to live in?
The quality of life. It's a frame of mind. Is a city open to new ideas and making a healthier life available to its residents. You can always tell when a city is forward enough by the vibe you get when you visit.
Are the resources available for people to take advantage of and do they make creating them a priorty. ie: local markets, retaurants, parks, clean air and water and a sense of friendliness.
There was an article posted today about Indianapolis starting initiatives to help make the city more green.. That is what makes a city green. Progressive thinking.
I agree. It's a good color to be!!! Green symbolizes health and well being. When you live in a city, you want it to be a place where your well being is considered and taken care of.
