Anyone have any ideas for a surplus of lavender? I'd like to make bath salts or soaps or something useul. Last year I made wands to give away, tied bunches for friends, made wreaths and sachets and when I foun out I couldn't make my own essential oil I tried to sell the extra dried bunches on Ebay. I didn't know what else to do, I searched the internet and only found recipes for bath products using the oil, which is too expensive to process myself. Anyone with any ideas PLEASE let me know! Thanks bunches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~Kim

Evolotus,
I don't usually do the contacts thing, as they often seem to be offers of products or such.I did send you a contacts email since that may be a way to send me the distilling info. I'm a graphic designer/illustrator and still haven't had the time to do my own web page, had one 8 yrs ago and then changed email addy and lost the page. OH WELL! Anyway, sounds like you and I are kindred spirits to a degree, particularly in the vice of shoes. But at this point in my life, since I work from home, the only pair I worry about is my running shoes : ). Anyway, give me a hollar back if you'd like. Thanks for trying!
Hi Kim,
I have been making my own melt and pour soaps for years and I add a layer of lavender flowers to the top right before it begins to set up. Not only does this make a lovely soap bar but the flowers act as an exfoliator.
Be well,
