Would like to see Herbal Pharmacist continue on Lime
Posted by suzindenver on January 28, 2008 - 8:06pm.

Was listening to Herbal Pharmacist today. Sadly, Dave indicates he will be leaving the airways of Lime. Dave has a following of many dedicated listeners and it's such a disappointment to see him go. The impact he has had on my life has been one of amazing change. I listen to Herbal Pharmacist daily and have taken so many steps toward a healthier life. I can honestly say I couldn't have done it without his input. He has helped SO many people and has saved so many lives. I was listening today about a guy who stopped drinking 2 pints of liquior a day!

Listeners, please post your thoughts on the Herbal Pharmacist show. It is immparative Dave know he is truley the best. Over the holiday, I signed up 4 Sirius listeners just so they could hear his show. I am just shocked of the decision of Lime and I would think they would do whatever it takes to keep him on their airways. He is truley an asset they are going to regret giving up.

Dave, if you are out there, understand one part of my day is dedicated to prayer, the other is to listen to your show. Those 2 hours of your positive input made my day nothing but great!

The Herbal Pharmacist is one of the best programs on Lime Radio!

The information given is practical, informative and delivered in a pleasant easy manner.

It is one of my favorite programs; please keep this one, definitely a keeper.

LIME Radio

I am so sorry to hear that the LIME radio program on Sirius radio will be shutting down! The LIME station is the reason I purchased and subscribed to Sirius radio nearly 2 years ago. The LIME station over time has introduced me to many wonderful hosts such as Dave Foreman The Herbal Pharmacist, Neale Donald Walsh, Laura Smith, Scott Cluthe and Jesse Dylan. All their callers and guests that have added tremendously to my days - they are all treasures that I hope to be able to find and locate again as I will feel a loss without the positive messages and information daily in my life.

I just heard about Dave leaving Lime. I am truly sad to hear this. I just purchased a portable system so that I can listen in my house as well as my car to Lime.

I have learned a lot of information from Dave and it has been an asset to my life and my families life. He has introduced us to healthy and natural ways to make our lives become better.

We need to do something to keep Lime on Sirius radio.

Laura Smith did a wonderful job of explaining what was occuring on Monday morning at the start of her show.  It really appears that Gaiam feels that Lime Radio is not the direction they want to continue, hence the station goes off the air on 2/18/08.

I like everyone else is very disappointed that we will be losing this wonderful resource.  I am also concerned that this website will also be going away.  I have noticed a real loss in community over the last few months. also.

Let's hope that they reconsider this wonderful resource

Sirius - Please
by ikeisadog on January 29, 2008 - 9:04pm

Sirius - Please reconsider.  When my husband signed up for Sirius for Howard Stern, I was introduced to Lime Radio.  My life has been enriched by the wonderful programing on Lime 114.  It has help me make better decisions regarding my physical, mental and spiritual well being.  I am a better Mom, wife, employee and friend.  It is crazy that a single radio station could have that effect, but it does.  I will truley miss Channel 114, and appreciate any suggestions on where to get daily, educated, encouragement and support on being a better person.   All the best to the wonderful hosts on Lime 114!

Dave is the best thing about Lime radio. His advice is sound and his humor a treat. I have made it a point to tune in everyday. What will he be replaced with? more wanna be healers, psychics, ? bad, bad, bad decision.

Good luck Dave- make sure you tell us where you are going

Lime on Sirius
by slisell612 on January 30, 2008 - 11:15am

Folks, this is not a decision by Sirius.  This decision was made by the owners of Lime, they are discontinuing the station.

Do you know what the rationale was for Lime owners to discontinue the station?? Just found out today while listening to the Herbal Pharmacist that Dave is off the air - that was bad enough but now to find out that Lime will be off the air completely.  I am glad I am  month to month w/Sirius - will discontinue my service tomorrow.

Lime Leaving
by jaerostep on January 30, 2008 - 1:18pm

Thanks Slisell612. I am terribly sad that the whole Lime Network is leaving. There is so much awful stuff on the radio and Lime as been such a bright spot in my day. All of the hosts are great and I have learned a lot from this station.

If there is something we can do to make the executives see that Lime is very important to us, please let us know.

Sirius... bad decision...
by Becca on January 30, 2008 - 3:31pm
I cannot believe my ears...what a big disappointment. I just signed up for a full year paid subscription with sirius just because of Dave The Herbal Pharmacist! Unless Dave is still on air I will not be renewing my subscription. Hopefully sirius will reconsider the taking Lime off the air.

I can't believe this.

I'm sick over this.  I just bought a year subscription so I can listen to Lime.  It's one of the best stations Lime has to offer.  What gives?  Dave especially has given so much good information.I might just cancel my subscription and go to the other satalite radio. At least they have Dr. Oz.

DO NOT CANCEL YOUR SIRIUS SUBSCRIPTION YET!
by suzindenver on February 2, 2008 - 10:49am

I know everyone is upset over Dave's show not being aired live for right now. However, you have all heard he is going to make sure that we have our resources somehow. I am going to put it out there that my intuition is that Sirius will find another channel for him to go back to.

Contact Sirius and tell them how much you want Dave on their network still and DO NOT CANCEL YET. You may end up regretting you did it so soon.

Let's help Dave do this. Be unstoppable about what you are passionate for. Don't let anger get the best of you and give up what you strive for.

LIME Leaving
by TheFrickeFarmer on February 6, 2008 - 1:55pm

My heart is broken. I thought, finally we get a decent radio station. I paid for a years worth of Sirius and found out within days that LIME was going away and being replaced by Dr Radio. Let me guess, the HMO's and Dr Deaths of this country couldn't stand that we were getting the knowledge to naturally care for ourselves. Well keep trying boys. More stations like LIME will replace this one. Just like you can't stop women from voting, you can't stop the naturalist from healing. I will miss all of the shows and bid you all a prosperous farewell.

Don't get angry ya'll remember the good times and be grateful we learned what we did from LIME and that will bring them back. Now you know... use your resources to find the same info elsewhere until the troops regroup.
