Love, it is the greatest thing anyone could ever give, receive, and accomplish in this world and life. If we show love for everything and everyone the possibilities are endless. We love our earth, family, friends, and sometimes even strangers on the street. If we could all just learn to love, live in the moment as if it were to be your last, because it might be. You don’t want to die today not having experienced love there is too much hate in this world to have it all end and crumble into a million pieces because we didn’t love.
taradawn... I have got to say, that your comment really hit home for me today.
-Thank you
I would make it known that it is best to be conscious and considerate of all that exists beyond and within the mind.
I think that biggest hurdle for mankind is mankind's mindset. We don't behave as a global COMMUNITY. The typical person only cares about his or her self and, maybe, friends and family.
I care about that guy over in...Moscow taking a much deserve break from taxing work. I care about that ant on a scouting mission out west. I care about that exotic plant on that exotic planet in that exotic galaxy. It's not that I'm Buddhist or anything of the sort. In fact, I'm Agnostic. I'm not even spiritual. I just realize that we're all in this together. We just need to be more open.
...Was that on topic?
That's beautiful and she can never say she can't remember it. When you really love something, you can overlook a lot and see the inner beauty.
as a recovering ego-MANIAC,
i'd teach the value of humility
I see so much apathy in out society. I would teach empathy and feeling for someone while not feeling sorry for them. Empathy, not pity.
And how to despense advice without judgement.
Ok. thats two things.
someone mentioned mindfulness, and I would only add deeper breathing to that ... it's our best defense/offense against stress and being driven solely by external stimuli ...
breathe deep, be still and listen to the eternal voice that lives within you ... from there life becomes much more deliberate and purposeful, minute by precious minute ...
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."
~St. Paul
"And now these three remain: Faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
~St. Paul
"It's easy to half the potato when there's love"
~Irish Proverb
When you've got love, everything else follows.
The one thing that has been the difference that made the difference in my life is meditaiton/mindfulness. I used to spend all my time plagued by the past and worried about the future. Now I live primarily in the present moment through developing the habit of meditation/mindfulness.
Also, I used to be a victim to my thoughts...whereas meditation/mindfulness has taught me how to be an observer of my thoughts. So I don't have to get caught up in the drama of my thoughts! What a powerful place to BE.
This is the greatest gift anyone could receive, the ability to live in the present moment and bask in the beauty of who they are.
That's why my goal is to help 100,000 people develop the habit of meditation/mindfulness. I hope everyone will join this goal!
Peace and love,
Lisa

Horses know nothing of money, status, beauty or accomplishment... Horses see only our hearts, and they accept or reject us based on what they find within.... In short, horses do naturally what humans can pass a lifetime without ever mastering.
If I could teach people one thing (and I am devoting my life to "teaching" people this one thing) it would be meditation.
Meditation is about living in the moment and being aware of the truth of who you are. Living from this awareness is the answer to health, harmonious relationships, inner peace, love and joy!
I truly believe that if each of us lives from this place of Presence we would all experience love peace and joy.

I have read the comments since it was posted last year and it's really hit hard. In my line of work I see the human race in it's wars, disease and brutallity but through it all at the very core I see love as the overall factor. I see people at their worst but when they realize the damage caused, one can see the despair. I see the raw conditions before they are cleaned up for the public to see.
We live in a world that one ever takes notice of who is beside you or much less what the current condition is. One has to slow down and take notice and be grateful for the day and the person next to you. One has to find that "Shangri la" whether it's on Mt Everest, the beach, an open field or just on top of a hood of a car enjoying the sunset and ask yourself what good have I done today, tomorrow I will do better.
We have all come together here at Lime to share the common goal to better ourselves and the world around us. It's a start and it will get better. With love one can be compassionate, have patience, respect, acceptance and commitment. It is what it is, nothing more nothing less. Thank you Chris and the rest of the Lime community.
Love...
Hector
