Did you know that walking is the best, most natural form of yoga? Your legs are essential to the health of your entire body, and you need to keep them moving. The circulation of your body depends on your legs. They draw energy from the earth up to your heart, and you carry that energy in your body. Your digestion, too, benefits every time you move your legs. They are your roots, but they are also your mobility. They are the strongest, biggest muscles in your body, and you must keep them swinging freely from your hip joint. In yoga we do many poses that get the legs back to their natural, normal, pulsing, rhythmic health, to carry you through all the days of your life.

I believe the only city in USA that people actually do alot of walking is NYC -- besides Chicago -- everywhere else people tend to drive -- we need to educate people to start walking and not just do walk-a-thons.
