According to a CNN report this week, international media mogul Rupert Murdoch continues to baffle the world by implementing green practices in many of his outfits, despite his reputation as an evil and hideous ogre. Financial and business experts are especially bewildered by Murdoch's environmental actions because they're certain that if Rupert ever actually felt threatened by global warming, he would just buy it.
Cameron Diaz was spotted out and about with John Mayer in Manhattan this week, causing speculation that the two are dating. Both stars, of course, frequently voice concern over the planetary crises. If rumors of the budding relationship are true, at some point we may see an environmental messiah in the form of an infant. The child may or may not also inherit the gifts of starring in insipid romantic comedies and singing sentimental pop tunes about your body.
Actor/activist Leonardo DiCaprio recently mentioned that he's "uninspired" by the current field of presidential candidates and their environmental policies. "I'm still on the fence about it, to tell you the truth," said DiCaprio, sounding more like a potential candidate than a voter, and thus causing thousands of organic hemp panties across the country to get into a bunch.
The Natural Resources Defense Council recently recruited movie star Angela Lindvall, musicians Jack Johnson and Matt Costa, and professional surfers Rob Machado and Lane Davey to fight water pollution through their It's Your Nature campaign. The idea behind the movement seems to be that ordinary people should feel natural habitats belong to everyone, and not just to some aloof elite ...such as famous musicians, pro surfers, and movie stars.
Paris Hilton, new pal of green-home owner and Entourage star Adrian Grenier, happily attended the 11th Hour premiere in Los Angeles last week. When asked what she does for the environment, Paris replied, "I took all the lightbulbs out of my house and replaced them with energy saving ones." The air-headed heiress did not state how many Paris Hiltons it took to change the lightbulbs.

Paris Hilton, OH MY GOD!! You would think that if her parents had all that money she would probably learn something. All she learned is how to save money for herself, pretty sad actually if you ask me. Let’s see she does not care bout the environment and I doubt she would change her luxurious lifestyle to help the planet. But here is to hoping maybe her little friend Lindsey will get in a car accident with her BFF and maybe it will knock some sense in her. Little miss prissy needs to open her eyes and realize that there are a lot more important things to worry about rather than which outfit she is going to wear tonight or what club she will be attending. As for Leo, I absolutely love him, he is a person that will make it far, and hopefully help everyone in the long run. Leonardo running for President, what do you think?
