Chicken Avacado Sandwich

Yoga. Bunny. Detox. Liquid Psychiatry. No nasties. My soft drink promises an awful lot. Perhaps I've discovered some sort of miracle beverage? Made from the sweat of yogis, infused with pure bunny, guaranteed to drive all toxins from your body on contact. I prepare myself, take a small sip, and discover a whole new flavor that can only be described as... ginger ale?

Dublin Fish & Chips

Fish & Chips were on the menu, and I had no choice but to order them. Find out why.

Tendency Salad

Posted by Gary Markowitz on November 2, 2006 - 11:30am.

In this topsy-tervy world of ours, nothing is for certain. Now, there's a new salad that doesn't even try: the Tendency Salad. It doesn't promise much, just that it tends to be a salad, with various ingredients of your choosing.

Note: Because I'm busy working on the new features that will be launching on LIME in the next few days, I have asked our Zombie Intern to be guest blogger today and write about what he had for lunch.

Chicken Calabrese Pressini

Posted by Gary Markowitz on October 30, 2006 - 9:39am.

Shortly after taking office in 2002, Mayor Michael Bloomberg instituted New York's highly controversial Panini Laws. These statutes compelled all deli owners to reserve at least 1/3 of their counter space for "the production and sale of Paninis, as defined in Article 2." Paninis are officially defined as "a flatish, hard bread, kind of like a stale pita, stuffed with leftovers and made palatable by grilling with cheese."

Sushi

Posted by Gary Markowitz on October 25, 2006 - 5:36pm.

Mmm. Sushi. Edible art. Fresh. Healthy. And a quick road to bankruptcy if you eat it for lunch every day. I chose this particular "rainbow" sushi package because I thought it would look great in a photo. And boy howdy, does it ever.

Cobb Salad

Posted by Gary Markowitz on October 19, 2006 - 3:13pm.

I had trouble making up my mind for lunch today... bacon and eggs? Or a nice healthy salad? So I decided to have both, in the form of a Cobb Salad! I didn't have the kinder, leaner version recommended by LIME, but mine didn't seem too unhealthy anyway. The dressing was only a light coating, and the "good" ingredients seemed to outweigh the bad.

Tuna Melt

Gary tackles a tuna melt. Is he living the change?
